Founded in 2006 by Spartaco Albertarelli with a group of friends (Marianna Fulvi, Elena Prette and Angelo Zucca), KaleidosGames- The BoardGame Design Studio (briefly KG Studio) is a sort of workshop devoted to board game design and editing that can provide publishers all they need to print high quality board (and card) games, from the very basic concept to the electronic layouts, including top level pictures and technical support for plastic moulding. We can also provide contact with highly professional suppliers, all around the world.
One of the features that marks out the games created by KaleidosGames is the high level of the graphical contents. Actually it's not by chance that the name of the group is KaleidosGames,a word derived from ancient greek "kaleidos" that means "beautiful images" (kalòs + eidos). Kaleidos is also the title of a game by Spartaco Albertarelli, first published in 1995 by Editrice Giochi, the company leader in the Italian board games market. Kaleidos entered in 1995 the final list of the prestigious German award Spiel des Jahes, won in 1996 the French As d'Or as best game in the category "jeux de convivialité" ("party games") and is just one of the many games created by Spartaco Albertarelli.
After so many years Kaleidos is still a favourite party games for many players, because it provides endless ours of fun. A new edition of the game is published by French companies Interlude and Ystari.
